With Election being in this month's fasting Dates we are going to fast and pray over the election the day before, the day of and the day after. All 3 dates of fasting and prayer are imperative. You may encounter more spiritual warfare in this month's fast than previous months and that's okay. Recognize it and be prepared to counter attack. Below are the prayer points and scriptures for each day.
RWC your prayers are heard and make a difference. Rise up Warrior!
“Father God, as I fast, arm me for spiritual warfare. Help me put on your full armor without one piece missing. Allow me to stand firm against and recognize the schemes of the devil. In Your mighty power, I claim victory over every spiritual battle. Amen.”
Ephesians 6:11-18 describes the armor of God, essential for spiritual battles. Make sure you are clothed in this armor. Your assignment will require it.
Ephesians 6:11-18 The Voice - 11 Put on the full armor of God to protect yourselves from the devil and his evil schemes. 12 We’re not waging war against enemies of flesh and blood alone. No, this fight is against tyrants, against authorities, against supernatural powers and demon princes that slither in the darkness of this world, and against wicked spiritual armies that lurk about in heavenly places. 13 And this is why you need to be head-to-toe in the full armor of God: so you can resist during these evil days and be fully prepared to hold your ground. 14 Yes, stand—truth banded around your waist, righteousness as your chest plate, 15 and feet protected in preparation to proclaim the good news of peace. 16 Don’t forget to raise the shield of faith above all else, so you will be able to extinguish flaming spears hurled at you from the wicked one. 17 Take also the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Pray always. Pray in the Spirit. Pray about everything in every way you know how! And keeping all this in mind, pray on behalf of God’s people. Keep on praying feverishly, and be on the lookout until evil has been stayed.
“Lord of Wisdom, as I fast, I ask for the gift of discernment. Help me to distinguish between truth and falsehood, making decisions that align with Your will. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of my life. Amen.”
Meditate on Hebrews 5:14 which speaks about the maturity of discernment, crucial for living a life that is in tune with God’s will and purposes.
Hebrews 5:14 ESV - But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.
As you meditate on scripture today, ask for God’s blessing and effectiveness in spiritual work and outreach.
“Father God on this third day of fasting, I pray for fruitfulness in my ministry. We are all called to share your Gospel. Give me courage and boldness when I feel afraid. May my efforts bear fruit for Your Kingdom, and may lives be transformed through the work You have entrusted to me. In Your mighty name, Amen.”
John 15: AMP - I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
1st Prayer Watch Scriptures - Laying the foundation of prayer for the next day.
Meditate on these scriptures during your time of fasting throughout the day.
Psalm 37:23-24 NJKV
23 The steps of a good man are [a]ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
Jeremiah 15:16 NLT
When I discovered your words, I devoured them. They are my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies.
Psalm 119:11 TPT
I consider your Word to be my greatest treasure, and I treasure it in my heart to keep me from committing sin’s treason against you.
Hebrews 8:10-12 The Voice
10 But when those days are over,” the Eternal One says, “I will make this kind of covenant with the people of Israel: I will put My laws on their minds and write them upon their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people. 11 In those days, they won’t need to teach each other My ways or to say to each other, ‘Know the Eternal.’ In those days, all will know Me, from the least to the greatest. 12 I will be merciful when they fail, and I will erase their sins and wicked acts out of My memory as though they had never existed.”
Day 1: On this first day of fasting corporately we are focusing our prayer toward asking the Father for power and wisdom to know the “greater things” He wants us to do for Him
John 14:12-14 ESV
12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me[a] anything in my name, I will do it.
Day 2: Ask the Father to help us stay assignment minded and see beyond just personal needs so that we can focus on kingdom concerns.
Colossians 3:2-3 ESV
2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Day 3: Pray faithfully and powerfully for our city, community, and nation, and leaders
1 Timothy 2:1-2 ESV
1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
All three days we are corporately praying over the upcoming revival. Salvation, Restoration, Deliverence
Psalm 85:6 ESV
Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
On this first day of fasting ask the Holy Spirit to show you creative was to minister the gospel of Christ. It is, after all, the Good News. Let's focus on how to to spread it.
Romans 10:14 ESV - How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
Matthew 25:35-40 ESV - 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[a] you did it to me.’
Pray over yourself today for humility then pray over the corporate body of Christ for humility. We can do nothing on our own but when we humble ourselves and pray we can see more clearly the things around us and the truly say Father, break my heart for what breaks yours.
Philippians 2:2-5 ESV - 2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. 3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,[a]
The enemy desires nothing more than for us to be distracted lose focus on the assignment. Spend time today hearing from God. We know his voice because we belong to him. Pray away distractions, even if they are a good things they can still distract you from the purpose.
John 10:10-18 ESV - 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. 13 He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. 17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.”
The enemy is after marriages because he knows marriage is a powerful covenant relationship designed by Abba Father. Marriage is the perfect union. Specifically pray for couples to register for this conference.
There may be situations where one spouse wants to attend while the other one doesn't. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring them together in the decision to register and faithfully attend. Pray over the speakers and any battle of spiritual warfare they are enduring as they prepare for each session.
Genesis 2:18 AMP - Now the Lord God said, “It is not good (beneficial) for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper [one who balances him—a counterpart who is] suitable and complementary for him.”
Mark 10:6-9 The Voice - 6 But truly, God created humans male and female in the beginning. 7 As it is written in the Hebrew Scriptures, “For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother [to marry his wife], 8 and the two of them will become one flesh and blood.” So they are no longer two people, but one. 9 What God has joined together in this way, no one may sever.
Let's take the time today to pray for the upcoming revival. We have been called to be the catalyst of revival for our community. the enemy will will throw every obstacle, curve and road block to keep it from happening.
Specific prayer points: Pray against spiritual warfare against the Evangelist, Joshua Sullivan and his family.
Pray over every night of the service that the Holy Spirit will be bringing people on specific nights according to their need.
Pray for endurance to be in attendance for each night of revival. The enemy loves to bring slumber when he knows there is potential for a powerful outpouring to happen.
1 Peter 5:8 AMP - 8 Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.
Revelation 2:4-5 AMP - 4 But I have this [charge] against you, that you have left your first love [you have lost the depth of love that you first had for Me]. 5 So remember the heights from which you have fallen, and repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior—seek God’s will] and do the works you did at first [when you first knew Me]; otherwise, I will visit you and remove your lampstand (the church, its impact) from its place—unless you repent.
Pray for God’s will to be revealed in your life and in future generations. Ask the Holy Spirit what it looks like for you to bridge the gap in this generation and future generations to come.
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God; keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. (Deuteronomy 7:9 NIV)
Ask God for steadfast, passionate faith. At times we see our faith wavering. We get the mentality that I know God can and will do it for others but I don't believe He will do it for me.
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country. Love, obey and enjoy God in the fullness of who He is. (Hebrews 11: 8-10 NIV)
Give God the praise, adoration, thanksgiving and worship He deserves. Come out from just going through the motions. Take this day of fasting to be intentional about how your praise and worship. He is worthy of it all!
Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of his faithful people. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King. Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp. For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds. (Psalms 149:1-5 NIV)
Pray the Lord gives you boldness, confidence and belief in the power of prayer. Let's get violent with our prayers because prayer is violent. Ask the Holy Ghost who to intercede for today.
Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24 NIV)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16-17 NIV)
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:19-25 NIV)
Your lives light up the world. Let others see your light from a distance, for how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16 TPT)
Vision - Seek God in these 21 days for revelation and vision of His Word and Will. 2024 (FORWARD) will be a year of new challenges and stretching that we, as the Ekklesia, have not experienced before. Diligently seeking God for his divine vision and revelation will equip us in the stretching to be able to move forward.
Write down and keep a journal all that he tells you in this fast.
Proverbs 29:18 AMPC - Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]—blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he.
